Song of the Week (13th October): Fall // Pixel Fix

Pixel Fix takes a slight diversion from the usual ‘indie’ route to create lucid dreams within their songs. The vocals could arguably be compared to that of Two Door Cinema Club, but the music is far from that. Instead, it is enthused by that of Jamie XX and James Blake. The band have thrown in luminous electronic melodies and a flirtatious fuse of slow yet expressive guitars into ‘Fall’.

The warm, velvety texture at the beginning of the song envelopes you as you divulge in the many soft tones of the track. They have further captivated their audience as the repetitive vivacity of the chorus instantly creates likeability. The track in itself carries so many rhythms and the Walton-Hoax remix gives it the ambient vibe that sends shivers down your spine.

About Little Miss Thorns (5 Articles)
Hi Everyone! Hope you are all well, I began this blog after being inspired by many other beautiful people! I cannot deny I am in awe of most successful bloggers and their lives always seem amazing. It’s an excuse to make, eat and do nice things all the time - sounds horrible, right? As well as attempting to blog every now and then, I also own a jewellery label CAT NOT INCLUDED. This is where my love of cats and jewellery fuses together as the pieces are modelled on my two reluctant kitties. You could also say I love art and fashion, but most importantly, food! My attempt at staying healthy is usually overcome by this desire, I’m a sucker for cake, pizza and chocolate which my blog more than likely reflects. Enjoy :)
